Having worked with Sonum since early 2022, Risa is experienced in helping clients develop dynamic planning and analysis processes in a wide range of industries and departments. It is her passion to use her analytical skills to identify and solve problems that affect customers. As a client-focused professional, she strives to learn from clients and work closely with them to achieve their goals.

Risa is a talented individual who is fluent in both Japanese and English, as well is starting to learn Spanish. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and relaxing at the beach in her spare time.

What attracted you to working at Sonum?

Having the chance to work with expert consultants to help international customers create the best solutions appealed to me. The Sonum team offered me the opportunity to expand the business and gain additional experience and knowledge.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned during your time at Sonum?

How much my experience enriched by working in an international environment with colleagues and customers from all over the world.

What are you most proud of at Sonum?

Sonum is a very inspiring place to work. There is a culture of ambition, respect for each other’s opinions, and always considering what is best for our customers.

What would you say to a colleague just joining Sonum?

In Sonum, you will have many opportunities to build your experience and knowledge by involving yourself in those opportunities. It will be a pleasure to collaborate with you and to see our company grow together.

What does your typical day look like at Sonum?

My days at Sonum are never the same. That’s one of the things I love the most.

I communicate with my colleagues about the current project status to ensure its successful implementation. I regularly engage with customers who utilize the system and review with them whether the expected business efficiencies and operational improvements have been achieved. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, I develop specific support to solve customer problems.

Occasionally, I build my own models to better understand the platform’s features we’re implementing.
