Sonum International’s continuing expansion has selected Portugal to further strengthen it’s international presence. With this new office, Sonum reinforces its activity in Iberia, confirming its leading position in Spain and Portugal for EPM solutions.

Portugal is well known to Sonum, as Sonum has carried out multiple projects in this market over the past years implementing the most advanced EPM tools. The increasing demand in the Portuguese market will now be supported by Sonum’s local team.

One of the founders of Sonum, Maud Vermeulen, points out that the opening of this new office “reinforces our international expansion and strengthens our presence in the territory, helping Portuguese companies in the automation and optimization of the planning, forecast and financial consolidation processes”.

Additionally, Ricardo Rodrigues, executive partner of Sonum’s Portuguese franchise, comments that “Sonum’s greater presence in the country comes to meet the demand of those companies needing to improve their financial processes, in order to react quickly to changes in a market as volatile as the one we currently live in”.

With this new milestone, Sonum increases its international character with physical presence in five European countries (The Netherlands, Spain, Latvia, Germany and Portugal), in addition to South Africa. From these 6 offices, Sonum supports clients around the globe in their native language, due to the 17 languages spoken by its consultants.
